TPD - Paper Quilt (with inchies)
Group:The Paper Dragon
Swap Coordinator:Paige1900 (contact)
Swap categories: Challenges  Inchies
Number of people in swap:14
Location:International
Type:Type 3: Package or craft
Last day to signup/drop:September 19, 2012
Date items must be sent by:October 19, 2012
Number of swap partners:11
Description:

The credit for the entire swap goes to @123Poggy123 I think it is an absolutely awesome idea, Super Simple and Super Fun.

We will send 2 inchies to each of our partners. We will have 11 partners each. So you will make a total of 24 inchies. (Inchies are quick and easy, so making 24 inchies won't be a big deal) Once you receive all your inchies you will put them together in a frame like a quilt. Like the picture on the swap.

Also for all our international friends, this will be a cheap swap as it can be flat mail rate.

Requirements:

  • You will make 24 Inchies total.

  • You will send 11 partners 2 inchies each (the extra 2 will be yours to keep for your own quilt).

  • Senders choice (but it is always a good idea to check profiles for dislikes).

If we don't get at least 11 other people to sign up, I will adjust the partners

As with all my swaps I will angel if (in the very remotest possibility) that you are flaked on. . .you MUST rate your partner a 1 though. If you choose not to rate a 1, then I choose NOT to angel.

If you flake on this swap. I will summon the vermin that live on the underbellies of snails to infest your armpits...and you will NEVER be allowed in another swap of mine, you will be promptly removed from TPD and you will be reported to FOPS

I LOVE grouping my inchies like this. They are absolutely amazing displayed together.

I love the 'paper quilt' idea! I've never made inchies before though - so I hope that's not a problem with anyone? If ANY of you have any qualms about an 'inchie-newbie' being in this swap, please say so & I'll drop out!

Paige1900 09/16/2012 #

Do NOT drop out you crazy lady! Inchies are fun little pieces of art, you will have no problem!

Thanks Paige! Yes, inchies do look like they're a lot of fun! I just wanted to "warn" folks that I haven't made any before. I certainly wouldn't want anyone disappointed or worried about swapping with me because of that.

I've never made inchies before either, @ferretlady You're not alone! This seems like the perfect time and place to start. :-)

ferretlady 09/17/2012 #

Oh, thanks for posting, LahDeeDah! I feel a lot better now, knowing I'm not the only one!!

I've never made inchies before either! After reading @ferretlady and @LahDeeDah comments...I'm in:)

Paige1900 09/17/2012 #

I have faith in you all!

TerryF 09/19/2012 #

Absolutely! If you have ever made a handmade PC or note card or ATC, then you will be fine because an inchie is exactly the same except for its size.

We also welcome all skill levels in TPD - just let your partner know if it is something new to you. (";)
