Last day to signup/drop:October 20, 2012

Number of swap partners:2
Description:

For this swap you will send 2 partners: - 5 pieces of ribbon/lace - each at least 20cm long and each one must be different - 10 different buttons

Its as simple as that. I love to have the variety with the buttons and ribbons I use on my cards, but I struggle to find packs that have a diverse range of styles/colours.

Please do try and look at peoples profiles to ensure you are not sending something your partner really doesn't like/won't use. If you have anything specific you would really like for a project, please use the comments box below so your partner can see if its something they have in their supplies.

Newbies welcome as this is a no-spend swap with minimal postage costs. I will angel if required.

No unexplained 1s or 3s in the past three months. I will be checking profiles before sign-up date.

Just joined Swap Bot tonight and being a keen scrapbooker, I'm excited about this already! Have all my stuff ready to go!

MamaMay 10/16/2012 #

I am excited for this as well.

Oh, I forgot to ask before joining. Are yarns acceptable as well? I have enough ribbons/laces if not.

I'm afraid this swap is just for ribbons/lace :)

MamaMay 10/17/2012 #

That is fine. As I said, I have ribbon and lace to swap as well, I just wondered.

Lynne72 10/18/2012 #

Thinking of joining, is there a width minimum for the ribbon?

MamaMay 10/18/2012 #

Sadly, I left my ribbon out, as I was going through it last night and selecting stuff I would be willing to swap, and my daughter found it and glues about 60% of it into hair bands (that apple is as crafty as the tree she fell from!). Because of this I am pulling myself from this swap. Sorry.

With regards to the ribbon size, its difficult to set a minimum size but I think if you think the ribbon is maybe a little on the thin side then include an extra length. I will leave that up to senders discression.

I don't scrap book, but would love buttons and ribbons to use in my crazy quilt squares!

I haven't participated on swap-bot for over FIVE YEARS so I'm pretty excited about this. I was a bit of an addict back then. :) Thanks for organizing the swap!

I have to apologize to my swap partners! I forgot that I'd signed up on Swap-Bot with an old e-mail account that doesn't come into my regular inbox so I didn't realize the deadline had passed. I feel horrible but promise I will send my packages tomorrow! I was reminded when I got one of my packages from another swap today.
