Description:

So I have this strange obsession with handwriting. I am the type of person that if there is a pen in my hand I am doodling, or writing. I love it. I love seeing my hand writing. Nowadays there isn't much left of it! It's so sad. Everything has been replaced by text. Even my college notes are written on an application on my iPad. Fake pen and paper.

So for this swap, you will doodle, write, draw whatever you feel to your partners. Mostly text. It doesn't have to be thought out, just let your mind flow! Show your creativity! This must be at least one page of writing or doodles. Cursive or print, whatever you prefer.

I may or may have not though this through entirely, so please if there are any questions or concerns do not be afraid to ask.

This is International!

Enjoy. :)

Watching for now... I love handwritten letters. I've been playing with calligraphy pens and different fonts lately. I just have to make sure I have the time!

flofirenzie 10/18/2012 #

What size pages and how many?

isabellasnow 10/18/2012 #

I am watching for now to keep my dashboard open but I will most definitely join! I, too, love to doodle and try my hand at fancy handwriting. Wish I had the patience for calligraphy. anyway...count on me when the time comes!

NOTYOURPRIZE 10/18/2012 #

Hi Flofirenzie, just a standard piece of paper. 8.5x11 give or take. :)

marge 10/20/2012 #

Can we use different sets of stationery or strictly 8.5x11 or that is just a guideline? Thanks

NOTYOURPRIZE 10/21/2012 #

You are more than welcome to use different sets of stationary! As long as you have at least a full sheet of paper, and if they are smaller they at least end up coming to the same size as a standard sheet. I just don't want anybody to feel cheated!

Can't join now, too many other things happening (including a craft show), but I agree with you that nice handwriting is starting to be a lost art, as well as good spelling.

Can I write a little and doodle a lot? My handwriting is very poor.

Or can II like maybe write a poem and then doodle around the poem?

If you say no to both, then please delete me from the swap. I realize there is not a lot of time for a reply and if you say no to the ideas, deleting me is the fair thing,

fawnscrafts 10/29/2012 #

what size page also? For doodles to look the best I would think a blank (unlined sheet ) would be best,

I really wanted the emphasis to be on hand writing and lettering. My apologies fawnscrafts. I hope you find what you are looking for ! :)

Fawnscrafts - I would be happy to do a swap for a poem with doodles around it. We could do a one-on-one swap if you would like.
