Description:

For the month of January, the theme for the surprise FQ will be Vintage Sheets. Find yourself some lovely or groovy patterned vintage sheets in good condition and cut your partner an FQ size...at least 18 inch by 22 inch (1/4 of a yard).....We don't use yards in Canada any longer....so FQ's here are usually cut larger...do what is normal for you. This is an international Swap so be prepared to send internationally. It is also senders choice since you will be limited by what you have in your stash or what you can find in the thrift shops. Put together a super package for your partner which will include:

  • One vintage sheet FQ in good , clean condition
  • A lovely little note to your partner...because we are friendly here aren't we?
  • Two other small surprise items (totally up to you)

As this swap is completely senders choice, you may begin to assemble your swap as soon as you sign up. You may find your fabric from your stash, in your local thrift shops, or order online...etsy is a good source....although lots of fun is to be had searching the thrift shops...and I'd hate for you to miss out!! If ordering online, you may have the order sent directly to your swap partner so as not to duplicate shipping charges. If you choose to have your online order shipped directly to your partner, you may want to have the remainder of the swap be able to be mailed in a card so as minimize shipping. As always, think flat and light like patterns, transfers, book marks, stationery, favourite recipes etc.

Details: If you will be late to send out your swap, please let your partner know. Life happens sometimes, and communication is key to avoiding any misunderstandings. Please remember to mark you swap sent only after you have dropped it in the post box or at the post office.

Ratings: Please rate with the same courtesy that your would like extended to you. It is generally appreciated that if you feel your swap did not meet requirements, that you contact your partner and come to an agreement on how to proceed.

Can you define vintage? I have old sheets, but I am not sure if they would count!

So I did an Internet search and it came back that over 25 years old is considered vinatage! I am totally covered!
