About postage stamp bag

Do you know "Label Bag", "Sticker Bag" or any other kind of swapping bags? This is just like them.

If you don't know those bags, please read below.

Postage stamp bags are small envelopes (Approx Size 3 x 4.5 in. = 7 x 11 cm) filled with used or new postage stamps. And made for and by somebody, just like a "Friendship Book". Of course you can making the bag for and by your own. It's return to you after traveling around the world and filled postage stamps. Each persons puts number of rules postage stamps in and takes out. Then it's passed on to another person and the last signer sends it back to the person it was made for (=homer). Bag maker should be filled out the rules and homer's address on small envelopes.

Most postage stamp bag rules
Start out with 5 stamps. Take out 3 stamps. Put in 5 stamps. Last #5 person returns it to home.

Most importantly, please do not stop this bags. These bags must be returned safely to the owner of the bag. This swap is for postage stamps lovers. Please do not put torn postage stamps to each bags.

If you have any question, please ask.

This looks very interesting. I am not sure that I understand how it works? Am I correct in assuming that I would put 5 stamps in a bag and send to someone. when I receive a bad, I would take out 3 stamps for myself, put in 5 stamps, then send it to the next person?

How would I know who to send it to?

Sorry for all the questions. One day I will be 'in the know' and will then wonder how I could have ever found something confusing.

yup @lizard you got it. you just send it to more people in other swaps who does the same thing. or maybe add them into a swap and possibly get others to join in.

What do you mean by "Please don't send more than 1 homer bag to each partners" ?

Tomomi 12/18/2012 #

@Lizard Sorry you can not join. Because you are newbie here.

Lizard 12/22/2012 #

Yes, I know I can't join. I just wanted to learn more, for when I can join these awesome swaps. Anyway, I can't join because I am in 5 swaps and that is my max allowed at the moment. I have already clicked 'sent' on 4 swaps and I guess the recipients will get their items just after Christmas. :D It will be like a second Christmas! For me too, when mine arrive!

I also wonder what a homer bag is?

Mamabemus 12/25/2012 #

a homer bag is one that the next signer is the last and would have to send home after signing.

I would really like to join in, but I am still confused how it works after reading the comments on two of these swaps. How and when does the homer bag make it back to you? Is there some sort of link where I can read more about this concept.
