Description:

Welcome to the next round of The Traveling Camera challenge!

The idea of this swap is to take one photo on a disposable camera and send it to your partner. By the end of the 24 rounds, you should have a camera full of photos, each taken by different people.

If you participated in the first round...

The theme this time is EVERYDAY OBJECTS. As always, feel free to put your creative spin on the theme. Just because they are everyday objects doesn't mean they have to be shot in an everyday way. Maybe you have objects that are normal to you but not to others...

If this is your first round...

You are welcome to participate, however, I am only planning on doing 24 rounds of this swap, so keep in mind that your camera might not be full be the end of the swaps. If you want to participate, just buy a disposable camera with at least 24 exposures, take ONE photo (preferably one that meets the requirements of the theme), and send it off to your partner. Be sure to write your address somewhere on the camera so that it gets back to you at the end of the swaps.

PLEASE don't take photos of anything inappropriate or potentially disturbing. There are plenty of 'safe' photo subjects out there. With that said, feel free to get creative and think outside the box. Set up objects in a unique way, play with lighting and backdrops, get a friend to model for you, have fun, and EXPERIMENT!

I will accept anyone with at least 5 completed swaps, some of which must be type 3. Unexplained low ratings will not be accepted.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to comment or send me a message.

How much postage does it cost to mail a disposable camera?

Bootses 02/13/2013 #

@Deeno1105 postage cost me around $2.50. But it might change depending on where you live in relation to which "Zone" it's being mailed to?

Sounds fun. I'm in!

This is my first round and had a question. As my camera gets passed from one person to another, is there some way we'll be able to know who took what photo and where they live?
