I just thought this might be a nice idea...since my two favourite things are fabric & chocolate!! (Apart from my DH of course!) This swap is simple...just send 2 Fat quarters of your favourite fabric (Can be 2 different fabrics or one half yard of one ~ you decide) and a bar of your scrummiest, most favourite chocolate. If you have preferences (Or allergies) please put them in the comments section below, and make sure they are on your profile.

When you get your partner it might be a good idea to contact them and check, vis a vis allergies!!

Everyone welcome on this swap providing you are a genuine swapper & have a full profile.

If you are a newbie please contact me before you sign up!

THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL SWAP!

No dark chocolate please. I love all kinds of milk chocolate.

SweetClementine 04/ 3/2008 #

Fabric AND chocolate?! YES, please! I'm easy to please. I especially like white chocolate and chocolates with fruit, nuts, toffee, or caramel. No allergies or dislikes.

***Please wrap the chocolate up separately in the package so that it doesn't ruin the fabric if it melts. It's starting to get pretty warm in Texas! Thanks!

SweetClementine 04/ 3/2008 #

Strange...the second half of my comment was deleted above. I'd just like to ask that the chocolate is wrapped up separately in the package in case the warm Texas weather melts it. I'd hate to end up with chocolate fabric! :-)

doniamae 04/ 3/2008 #

It's interesting to read how different everyone's taste is in chocolate. I'm sure the same is true for fabric! I don't like white chocolate at all, and I'm not crazy about most plain milk chocolate. I like most dark chocolate, and especially love the chocolate/caramel combination (milk chocolate or dark chocolate is fine combined with caramel). I'm not as picky as it sounds, promise. Thanks!!

catsmeow 04/ 5/2008 #

2 of my favorite things in the same swap! WOW! Milk, white and basic dark (if it has a %, then its too dark for me! Love cashews, pecans, almonds in my chocolate. No allergies.

I along with SweetClementine request that the chocolate please be put in a separate baggie, it will be 80-90 when this swap goes and if I'm not at home when its delivered, well you get the picture!

mommiesbee 04/ 9/2008 #

There is nothing more perfect than chocolate and fabric! Yay!

Sprezzatura 04/16/2008 #

I'm not at all picky about chocolate, I'm one of those rare people who likes white chocolate...I'm not wild about raspberries though.

quiltlady2008 04/17/2008 #

Fabric and Chocolate! Wow, such a great combination for a swap. I love dark chocolate but I like ANY kind of chocolate: milk, dark, fruit flavored, caramel. I love every bite. But... coconut is a no-no. I hate coconut.

Babalina58 04/17/2008 #

ozduchess 04/30/2008 #

2 questions: are all countries ok to receive choc? and what size bar are we talking? It's not hot here in Vic Aust at the moment so no potential melting problems. Choccy, mmmmmmmm.

fabfuchsia 04/30/2008 #

Hi! Thanks for the questions...if anyone does have a problem receiving chocolate please contact your partner when allocated and discuss!! It's up to you what size bar you send...as long as it is yummie!! I would also recommend that chocolate is wrapped in bubble wrap seperately from the fabric.

I hope this answers everything...thanks for signing up everyone!

Goodie!! I always have to be different, I love choclate and fruit mixed, orange, cherries, strawberries. White or milk choclate, Dark choclate makes me sneeze and then I get caught with it and have to share!!

Woohoo!!! My first swap here at swap-bot! I like dark and milk chocolate with nuts. I don't like white chocolate. My favorite colours for fabric are greens (mossy and limes) and pinks...not too fond of blue.

BLee 05/ 7/2008 #

This is going to be fun!!!

I adore milk chocolate or good white chocolate. Nuts, caramel, coconut, cherries, raisens are all cool with me.

Love to play with fabrics, so anything goes...

tcweikel 05/ 7/2008 #

I enjoy all chocolate, but prefer dark and I like milk better than white!

Fabric is senders choice - as long as you would not mind receiving it, it will work!

More in profile. Thanks!!!!

bontkwagga 05/ 8/2008 #

No white chocolate for me please.. As for fabric, I would LOVE kawaii fabric or with cats but I know that not everyone could find this.. So anything BRIGHT colored will work great! Thanks!!

KrisWW 05/ 9/2008 #

Green fabric for me please. And I love chocolate - but no whole nuts or white choc thanks. :) I don't have allergies though and absolutely love peanut butter and caramel and ginger (crosses fingers for an American partner)

I really love dark chocolate, will eat milk-chocolate in a pinch but don't care for white chocolate. Thanks! :-)

1CrazyQuilter 05/18/2008 #

heatherc I drop your package in the mail today from Ca.

kerri9494 05/19/2008 #

I love chocolate of all kinds, but I'm allergic to walnuts, so please, nothing with walnuts in it. Other nuts are fine, though!

As for fabric, I prefer fabric from a local fabric store, rather than a Wal-Mart or JoAnn cut, but I'm not that fussy. Not really into flowers or kid stuff, but I like bright, modern, kawaii, black and white, sueded cottons, anything that's special and lovely.

ladydy5 05/21/2008 #

Mailed mine to England yesterday and almost fell over when it cost me over $8.00, of course I always send way to much. I guess I will have to stay with the USA swappers for awhile. So enjoy.
