Description:

I asked piratecaptainmo to create this swap for europe as it was only for the USA. if it's a success, I'll make it international. I took the liberty to copy her text because it totally explains the reason of the title, but with some differences. I'll start this at home, too.

"My roomie and I keep a bucket of little presents in our library so that when we have a rough day or just need a pick me up we choose one and open it. It's such a fun thing to do and it's even better when the gifts come from others so that it's a surprise to both of us when it gets opened. So I was thinking that swap bot would be a great place to fill up our bucket.

For this swap you will send five (max 10) euros worth of small wrapped gifts to your parner. The gifts should be about palm sized or smaller so that they'll all fit into a container together. Gifts do not have to be profile based, but do not send anything on their dislikes list! Used is fine as long as it is in good condition. No holiday items unless specified as a like by your partner (this applies to candy, etc, also).

(...)

A few ideas:

hot drink packets

candy or treats

jewelry

an envelope of ephemera

lotion, bath bombs, etc

pet toys/treats

fun pencils/pens/erasers

art supplies

rubber stamps/ink pads/etc

dip mix

anything fun that you think of!"

Don't be a flacker, I will check your profiles and eliminate you. Newbies are welcome.

I love this, but it will be hard to rate, won't it? Will join when it stays European, I have to watch my shipping costs.

macati 03/14/2013 #

this one is european. I know it's hard to rate, but when I get the package I will open 2 randomly in order to evaluate my partner.

How many gifts?

macati 03/17/2013 #

there is a money limit - minimum and maximum - you should send little presents - if you look at the examples you will see that some only cost cents... you can send the number you want, but it would be interesting to send at least 3 or 4... hope I answered your question.

Perfectly! Thanks!!! ^_^

I was in the USA swap, and to be honest wonder if I was gonna ever had a bad day. They dont happen two often. Then my teenagers had spring break. The gifts made me smile and some were tailored just for me.

ack I spelled too wrong.

So far everyone seems to be having a pretty good experience with the US version. Most seem to be opening one present right away and then rating on that. Packaging also seems to be an influence in rating, if it's wrapped nice or fun obviously thought went into it. I will be hosting another round of the US version at some point so those who missed it be sure to keep your eye out. To those in the Europe version - have fun!!!
