Description:

This is the seventh in a series of technique based swaps.

This technique is super easy but impressive and very fun. Colour your stamp with ink pads or markers. Then lightly mist with water or no colour shimmer mist (like Perfect Pearls mist, Mister Huey's shine or a homemade version) and stamp. You can use watercolour paper or sturdy cardstock. The mist will allow your ink to bleed slightly giving you a watercolour look.

This technique best done with more than one colour on the stamp so they can blend. If you don't have stamping markers, you can use kids markers or if you have those tiny ink pads you can selectively ink parts of your stamp with those. Practice before working on your project to get the ink in the right places and the amount of water just right for the look you want. Results vary based on your spray bottle.

Please use your stamped image to make your choice of project. Since the feedback I've been getting is that many people are tired of ATC swaps, for this swap, please make a paper crafted project other than an ATC. So tag, greeting card (generic sentiment), bookmark, journal, gift card holder etc. Must be at least 10 square inches (multiply the length x width of your project)

*This is not a pass-it-on or trade swap. YOU must make this!

*If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas, smudges or double lines are not acceptable.

*Please check your partner's profile and avoid dislikes both in colour and theme. You may make this profile based if you wish.

*Please only use computer generated images if they are extremely high quality and show no pixelation even upon close inspection. And no magazine cut outs.

*Please make a beautiful project you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive.

*The project must each include a total of at least 4 layers and/or embellishments. The technique counts as one embellie. So, for example, an ATC with a base layer, a layer with the technique and a button counts as 4 layers/embellies. You must use all quality craft supplies. No cheap junk.

*Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. Colouring needs to look adult, not like a child did it. Please don't be discouraged by these rules. I am only referring to general tidy work, not tiny flaws.

*Please have a 4.98+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up date. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out.
