Description:

Hi. I am trying to improve my photography skills, but sometimes find that I don't push myself enough. I thought that a photography challenge might help me (perhaps you too?) to make sure that I take my camera with me to capture some unique opportunities. So, this challenge is to take more photos. This swap involves you sending 3 photographs to 1 partner. However, I am hoping that you will try to take a photo for most of the following:

  1. something sweet
  2. fruit
  3. beach
  4. take a walk
  5. clouds
  6. flowers
  7. sunset or sunrise
  8. picnic or bbq
  9. a fair or carnival
  10. summer beverage.

So there you have it. Grab your camera and try to challenge yourself to take as many photos as you can. Choose 3 to send to 1 partner with a note about how you enjoyed the challenge and whether it helped you improve your photography skills. You'll have the rest of the summer to capture your shots and you can start anytime.

Word is it's okay to use pics I've already got -- if that's the case, I'm in!!

Yes...don't fret if you find this too tough to take all of the photos. The important thing is to make sure that the 3 photos get to your partner. However, for those of us who need practice (ahem, me), I thought it would be fun to throw in a bit of a challenge too.

I'm not gonna fret no more, no more, I'm not gonna fret no more -- well, wasn't really -- just seem to already have lots of pics that I'd like to share. Love this swap, kind of has a scavenger hunt component to it, too!!
