Description:

For the time being @ColoradoKate is not hosting slam swaps. I enjoy them a LOT so I'm going to take over until/if she can!

I apologize that I haven't hosted these in a while.... they totally slipped my mind! :\

"Now that I have all this awesome kawaii... what can I DO with it?!"

Let's make kawaii slams! Slams are a type of Friendship Book where each page asks a different question. The book gets sent around to different people, and you can eventually get it back. It's a great way to get to know other swappers!

Be creative! You can use memo sheets (large, small, die cut, whatever!), lettersets, hand drawn pages, whatever you'd like. Just make sure that it is kawaii (the Japanese cute aesthetic).

  • You will have one partner. This is NOT an international swap, but you might receive an international homer.

You will send the following items:

  • Send 3 kawaii slams. These can be the ones you received from a previous kawaii slam swap, new ones you've made, or a combination!
  • If you make a new slam, it can be for you or for your partner.
  • Do not send your partner slams they've already signed-in on.
  • Each slam should have at least 10 questions. Depending on how you make your slam, you might not have literally 10 pages, but we want a good amount of variety.

Be sure you understand what a slam is! You need a page with who made the slam and who to send it to when it's complete, plus a sign in page for each person to put their information These are a couple of slams I made with lettersets. This is a video of a more traditional slam I made with 4x6 memos! You can ask anything you'd like! (But try to be respectful, of course.)

Include a note with the swap with the swap name and your username.

Please sign up for the next kawaii slam swap when the time comes so that you can pass on the slams! If we don't get our slams back, that would be sad. :( This will be one of our ongoing, monthly swaps.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • You must send the items in a way that they will not get bent or destroyed during shipping.
  • It's not required that you use brand kawaii, but don't use diddl, Disney, My Little Pony, etc... it should be true to the Japanese aesthetic. If you're not sure, PM me.
  • This is sender's choice, but it's always nice to look at your partner's profile for likes and dislikes! :)
  • No recent 1s or 3s.
  • Be a Darling Kawaii Swapper and read Kawaii 101.
PLEASE ask questions! If you send me a PM, that would be best. You can also look for support in the forum thread I created especially for these swaps! It's titled "Sticker Flake Slams", but I'll field any slam questions there.
I can angel this swap, but since this is a group swap, that shouldn't be necessary. :) <------ @rachelcdoyle can also angel this swap but again, shouldn't be necessary. :)
