Description:

Hello everyone!

This is my first time hosting on this group, so I hope I do well. I've been trying to think up something relatively creative for us to do. And this is what I have come up with.

You must design a hat...

BUT! It has requirements. Of course.

Firstly, the design itself has to be creative. You can collage, paint, glue, cut, whatever, but it CANNOT just be a simple coloured in design of a hat, it has to be done in a creative manner. Any medium is fine, so long as it's not disturbingly messy. (Like too much glitter that goes everywhere when your partner opens it. Glitter glue is ok, because it doesn't flake off everywhere.)

Secondly, you must design the hat according to the theme. This is to make it more fun, and, I hope to host more of these swaps with a different theme each time. For this first swaps theme I have made it a surprise. Therefore senders choice.

Thirdly: Make it something you would be proud to have stuck up in your art area.

Fourth: Include a short (Or long!) letter, talking about yourself, and the hat design, what inspired it, how you made it, etc.

Lastly: Put it in an envelope, include a small surprise if you want to, and then send it away!

You may not rate down if you do not like your partners design.

Any questions or requests please PM me!

I've been making hats for years, but I was never happy with any of them. They were either too small or too big or not quite right. So when I saw this swap opportunity, I decided to finally make something that fit me well and would be comfortable. I often download vintage PowerPoint templates through this https://masterbundles.com/templates/presentations/powerpoint/vintage/ source. I recommend finding a group that does them regularly (there are lots out there).
