Description:

This is for Halloween items! Place five items in a ziplock all relating to Halloween. Present the items nicely, either wrapping each gift, or decorating the bag. No edibles/drinkables for this swap. 5 to 7 dollar value total. Handmade is great, all senders choice! Examples of an acceptable bag:

a Halloween-decorated bag with:
1. a sheet of nice Spooky stickers (no kiddie or reward stickers for this swap!),
2. a bag of Fall buttons
3. A small owl or black cat stuffie
4. A string of Halloween lights!
5. A handmade Halloween pair of earrings (little pumpkins or some such things)

That would be a good bag for this swap. Send what you would love to get. No recent threes or unresolved ones. I will angel, and I screen very carefully, so be assured you will get a bag! For this swap, you must send on time, as it is seasonal. And you must rate within 24 hours of getting it. So, do not join if you cannot commit to sending on time, or if you only open your mail once a week or something like that. US only, feel free to make an international one.

What size bag should be used?

Amigirl 09/16/2013 #

Susan, It doesn't matter what size bag for this particular swap. After all, sometimes good things come in small packages. I finished putting mine together this weekend, just in case I get busy nearer the due date, and I ended up with a sandwich bag full, that included a piece of handmade jewelry, some Halloween paper crafting supplies, Halloween button collection, and a couple more little surprises that I took out of my Etsy store collection. It's more about quality than size.

Although you do need to have at least five items, and they definitely need to be worth 5-7 dollars. I've never had any trouble with any of my swappers not meeting the values I've set, but I will say that if there is any problem, or question, please tell me what you plan to send (or got in the mail if it comes to that) and I'll make the determination if the value is at least $5. Like I said though, I've never had a problem because I screen really carefully. Most people in my swaps actually are very generous.
