Description:

Let's have some Autumn fun altering an Altoid (or similar tin like Sucrets, etc) tin. They are not difficult to make. Many of us are beginners at altered items, so please rate fairly-- if tin is covered nicely and there are the correct number of items, or more, inside. Thank you.

  • Make sure the tin is clean

  • Cover outside of tin in whatever way you want--paint, washi/deco tape, decoupage, paper

  • You do not have to paint or decorate the inside of tin if you do not want...but do so if you like how it looks!!

  • Use theme embellishments on outside like flowers, embellishments, buttons, chipboard, real photos, stamping, pictures cut from magazines, etc

  • Fill the tin with theme-related goodies!

Your altered tin will have a theme--pick 1:

  • Autumn

  • Halloween

  • Thanksgiving

What to put inside?? At least 12 theme-related items. DO NOT put 12 of the same item inside! Multiples of an item count as 1. Examples: 4 labels= 1 item; 3 black buttons = 1 item, etc Examples of what you might include:

  • stickers
  • addy labels
  • paper
  • buttons in color of theme (i.e.: black & orange for Halloween...)
  • tiny embellishments
  • jewelry
  • keys
  • magnet
  • brads
  • gems
  • paper clips, push-pins, etc
  • theme-related inches, etc
  • ATC
  • tiny envelopes
  • think outside the box!!!

You will have 1 partner
Must have rating of 4.9

Since most, if not all, of the items will come from your 'stash,' there is no set cost to this swap. But please do not just throw junk inside the tin!! Make your partner SMILE & happy.

You can start making the tin and filling it now since this is sender's choice!

There are many sites on line for 'altered tins' or 'altered Altoid tins.'

Any questions, PM me. Thanks!!

Have FUN!
