Description:

For this swap, you will have one partner whom you will send one YA novel to. You will also include a nice letter that 1) explains why you chose the book you did, and what you think your partner will like about it (if it isn't specifically listed on their wishlist), and 2) tells your partner your 3 favorite YA novels/series and why you like them.

So if you enter this swap, help your partner out by adding a wish list of books or types of YA you're interested in either to your profile or the comments below! This is sender's choice, but please send something you think your partner will like! Used books are great, but please only send ones in good condition.

To sum up, you will send:

~ one YA novel
~ one letter explaining why you picked your partner's book & your 3 favorite YA books

This swap is for USA only due to postage cost. And remember, you can send your book via media mail, which is a really cheap rate!

For this swap you must have at least a 4.85 rating, and a nicely filled out profile. I can angel for this swap, but I will only let those I think will follow through join, so hopefully this won't be an issue.

Leave any questions in the comments below, or you can always message me.

Now let's send some literary mail! :D

Does it have to be a brand new book or can it be one you already read?

tuesdaytelegrams 01/21/2014 #

@Rubyfreckles It can definitely be a used book! But remember to send something you think your partner will like, not just a book you want to get rid of. :)

Rubyfreckles 01/21/2014 #

haha, well I don't keep books, so I want to get rid of anything I've read- whether I loved or hated it :)

Silly question, what is YA? New to site, love to read. Group sounds like fun. Thanks

tuesdaytelegrams 01/23/2014 #

@savannahsmiles4u Welcome to the site! YA is short for young adult, which are books aimed at teens, though people of all ages enjoy them. Popular YA novels include The Hunger Games, Divergent, Twilight series, The Mortal Instruments, etc. and some consider Harry Potter YA, though it could also be considered MG --short for middle grade, which are books for younger, middle school aged kids. Hope that helps! :D
