Description:

I joined Swap-bot to exchange mail art, and more often then not I find myself joining non-mail art swaps. I want to change that, and try to make a long-term mail art correspondence at the same time!

For this swap, paint, draw on, collage, or decorate an envelope any way you like, but spend some time on it and make it something you'd enjoy receiving. I'd recommend looking at your partner's profile to see what colours/styles they like.

Include a hand-written note saying how you got into mail art and why you like it. Feel free to tell any stories you have about mail art. Don't skimp on the writing!

If you like the envelope you've received, feel free to write a reply and see if you can find yourself mail art buddy.

The replying is a POST-SWAP, non-required activity and does NOT play into the rating. It is solely a fun bonus.

This is USA only to save money (and mailing time). I'm totally fine with angeling, but I hope I won't have to. I think I've given more than enough time to send. (A week and a half, almost two weeks.)

Feel free to ask any questions below.

Swap text says USA only but in the details it states International.

Would love to join, but is it only USA? I'm from Ireland (:

Oops, I forgot to mark Regional in the settings, thanks for letting me know. Sorry Cara! You're welcome to start your own version of the swap that is International.
