Description:

I collect interesting playing cards for use in all kinds of craft projects. I was hoping that there may be others out there looking to diversify their collections, as I am.

For this swap, you will be sending your partner 10 random playing cards (in an envelope) from at least two different decks. These playing cards can be any suit, as long as they are not the plain "bicycle" (or similar) playing cards. Please do not send any playing cards which you would not enjoy receiving yourself; this means that the cards must be in good to excellent condition (no soiled, torn, clipped, punched or folded/ creased cards).

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will likely ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps.

You must have at least 10 rated type 2 or 3 swaps (flat mail, crafts or packages-- not electronic) to participate in this swap.

I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain flaker-free.

Helpful information regarding mailing for US swappers: I have weighed playing cards out at 0.065 ounces apeice, and according to usps.com we may ship up to one ounce for the "regular" letter weight, which is $0.49 cents within the USA, and $1.15 overseas. For this reason, I have chosen 10 playing cards as the requirement for this swap, in an effort to keep postage reasonable.

I jus started and already have five swaps but if I get rated in time I would really like to do this swap. It's a great idea arianneroxa. I have several decks that I've seen n couldn't resist buying ;) *keeping my fingers crossed

@felicialauren I would be happy to have you participate in this swap. I really appreciate that you have a well filled out profile and that you are a member of Newbie Helpers. I'm sure that by the start of this swap you will have some ratings under your belt. :)

YAY!!! I love collecting playing cards! Decks AND singles. But I really prefer the ones with a picture of some sort on the face (like the one in the swap description). I have a few decks of interesting cards, so I hope my partner will like what I choose. ♥

@Lizard I'm with you! I love the really interesting cards as well. A friend from Russia actually just recently sent me one of their "common" playing cards, and I was surprised by how different it looked-- here's a link to the image on my Pinterest board: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/138767232242684990/ :)

@arianneroxa I love the cards on your pinterest! I've got over 60 decks of cards I think. I'll end up on the hoarder show one day! ;)
