New Development: @RooBaRoo has helped me edit my silly language, and is pursuing the mystical instructions for posting photos that don't come from an online source. Thanks, @RooBaRoo your Hot Mess Management skills are impeccable -- I am assuming that your child has already been skillfully toilet trained, whereas mine is a Hot Mess Rebel. This possibly explains a lot!

Repost: send (a letter or parcel) by mail for a second or further time.

Riposte: a quick clever reply to an insult or criticism.

This is a 3-fold postcard swap, which will be sent in 3 rounds. (If You want standard postage PCs, go to PC groups, this is the SILLY group!)

The 1st sender has to prepare the card for all 4 rounds. The ENTIRE 3-fold will be sent in all 3 rounds, folded in different ways, and then re-sent to the original sender by the Round 3 recipient. The swap is focused on insults & ripostes, 2 insults & 2 ripostes to be precise.

Round 1 - You (original sender) prepare entire card , write 1st insult + message, plus your own return address on the back, and send to partner 1.

Round 2 - Partner 1, after rating you on the quality of insult, ripostes your insult and sends to Partner 2.

Round 3 - Partner 2 rates Partner 1 on quality of Riposte 1, adds a fresh insult and sends to Partner 3. Round 4 - Partner 3 rates Partner 2 on quality of Insult 2, adds a Riposte 2, and returns entire original card back to original sender.

Quick! Grab a piece of heavier paper or lighter card stock (file folders work well). Find a postcard of reasonable size; cut the paper so that it is one postcard wide and three postcards tall if the postcard is placed horizontally on the paper. You will now fold the long piece of heavy paper in thirds, as if you were mailing a letter. This becomes a postcard mailer that can be remailed once by switching the back flaps, and then two more times by using the opposite side of the paper in the same way. Try it on a scrap piece of paper. I will try to figure out how to post photos somewhere, or can email you a photo if you PM me.

On the middle third (the "front"), write a great insult. Here are some ideas to get you going. If you feel bad, insult your recipient's late great aunt's pekingese.

Insult generator for folks who like naughty words and possibly adult situational humor

Shakespearean Insulter

The Foul-O-Matic, for those who enjoy naughty words

North Korean propaganda insulter

... and so on with pictorials, not so naughty

... and so on with Shakepeare, the king of Shakespearian insults

Here's a fun one for Lutherans and others, random insults written by Martin Luther!

Best yet, the Tea Party random insult generator

... or, hey, generate your own for novelty! But I digress!

Leave room for a riposte, then write a short note and your partner's address on one of the two flaps on the "back" of the mailer. It doesn't matter which one, because you will simply switch flaps when you remail it.

There will be 3 rounds of mailing/ swap-bot partner assignments: this is round 1. In Round 2, the Riposte Repost, the front remains the same and the back flaps are reversed. In Round 3, the flaps will be unfolded all the way and the mailer will be flipped over and refolded, and the postcard front will be on the opposite side of its original front. The Round 3 recipient will add a final Riposte and Repost to the original sender.

So that the Round 3 recipient can properly return the riposted/ reposted/ insulted postcard to you in the end, before you send out this round you will open up your postcard all the way, flip it to the blank side, pick one of the two outside postcard-sized flaps, and write your address on it as if you were sending a postcard to yourself. (What? You don't send postcards to yourself now and then? What are you doing in a silly group, then?) Now flip it back over again, fold it back up as it was already prepared, and tape the outside edges with washi tape or painters tape (easy to remove).

Got it? It makes much more sense if you make a little model of it out of a Post-It. Feel free to do this on your bosses' dime.

Now send the damn thing off! And be prepared to riposte and repost, thou unmuzzled idle-headed ratsbanes!

Anyone who fails to send will be labeled a valueless cow-tipper worthy of being spooged on by a yeti (wow, never heard of spooging before ...) and their partner will receive an amazing insult PC from yours truly. So be trustworthy, and choose your own compliment.

OK, anyone who would like to join but can't make anything out of the instructions, PM me and I will email photos of it. It really is easy, I am just not very good at describing!

YEAH !!!!!! "Diagram" please! (Please also clarify (folding &) sending instructions) (Once I understand your idea, may I rewrite it for you? (I know I am being a snob, sorry, & no, I am not always such a parentheses queen))

rngstgstll 07/14/2014 #

Yes, you are welcome to make me clearer, anytime. I make so much sense to myself ....

A pity it's international. Sounds fun! :)

I'm in for a good insult! And reposte! But canna make head nor tail of the address part ... Do we cover the original and later recievers senders addresses? How does the postie not get confused with mass addresses? Que? quando quando quando singing now...

rngstgstll 07/18/2014 #

We put two addresses on the postcard: Recipient 1's address, and then our own on the back, so that after Round 3, all the Round 3 recipient has to do is Riposte and Repost. A picture would be worth 1000 words, I need to get myself some kinda online account so that I can post it here :) Let me know what suggestions you have. ' International postage from US is no more than $1.15 for this swap (or 2 Forever stamps plus a 10 cent plus a 2 cent plus a 5 cent stamp, I have it memorized :) I can send you stamps, if that helps, Plushiecat -- I owe you from an awesome previous swap!

So, the postcard travels one leg of its journey, I set up a new swap, new people may join, it travels another leg, and so forth. If you join three successive repost/ ripostes it will get back to you faster, if you skip a few it will get back to you more slowly. In any case, after three rounds, the last recipient will pop it in the mail to the original sender.
