Description:

Scavenger hunts are fun, but I haven't seen any kawaii scavenger hunts.... The swap will work like this: find one kawaii item to fit the theme of each word or phrase listed below. You can be creative in your interpretations :) I'm thinking along the lines of memo sheet, sticker (flat or puffy or cut from a sheet), 12" washi or deco tape sample, but you can choose any item you want as long as it's one of the accepted brands. No one would complain if they receive, for example, a pencil or eraser or whatever that fits the word. To be clear, though, you will find one item for each word or phrase listed, so that will be a total of 15 items. You may send more than one item for each, but it's not required.

It's a scavenger hunt but take care in mailing the same as for any kawaii swap.

Just so I'm clear. Do we have to send a variety of things for this? Memo pads, erasers, stickers, pencils, etc.. , as long as they match the listed themes?

I was also wondering that- because, to be honest, I would be a lot more excited about receiving a package with a variety of kawaii items in it, rather than just memo sheets meeting the categories listed above, for example. Does that makes sense?

I responded to this earlier and thought my comment posted- so sorry!! I agree, a variety of at least 3 types would be nice. However, one memo sheet DOES equal one item for this swap, so keep that in mind. I don't want to make it difficult or expensive for anyone; it's supposed to be pretty inexpensive to put together and to mail. Extra effort is appreciated, of course, but I can't demand it by changing the swap description at this point. I hope that doesn't disappoint anyone too much :( Next time, I'll be sure to state a certain variety requirement.

I made it a type 3 because there IS the possibility of it being a package, depending on what items are mailed..

Thanks for clairifying! Just one memo per catergory is fine, it was just the question about the varierty that I wondered about; I think your decision to have a min of 3 different types of items is very reasonable. For those of us with large Kawaii collections, it can be easy to find all sorts of different things to send, like pencils, erasers, etc., but I know that not everyone has that large of a collection. However, most of us do have sticker flakes, 4x6 memos and mini memos at our disposal, for which I think setting the minimum at 3 is reasonable :)
