Description:

This is the USA version of my international The Sky is the Limit #2

The sky is awesome, whether it's rolling with storm clouds, vivid with a blazing sunrise, or blinding us with the magnificent blue of a summer day.

For this swap, take four sky photos that make your heart happy, and make your partner a set of note cards. Please use quality card stock and a good printing lab. If you print your own photos, use a good printer and quality paper. Please use 4x6 size prints. Let's make each photo different. We'll have lots of time to get some really interesting photos. It's fine to include other elements in the photo, such as trees, buildings, birds, etc. But the main focus should be the sky.

These note cards will be for your partner's use, so do not write in any of them. Include a little note with the cards with your Swap-bot info. On the back of each card, please put your name and the name of the place where the photo was taken. Please include an envelope for each card.

If you have any ones that you are working to correct, please wait until you've been rated for the resend before you sign up for this swap. There will be a lot of time before the send date, so you will easily be able to improve your rating. Thanks for understanding!

I realize that there is a very long time between the sign up date and the send by date, but I want to give everyone around the country plenty of "seasons of sky". As always, I will angel if needed!

The send by date is quite long, almost a year - I'm wondering if that's a good idea? I feel like with a long time people are more likely to become inactive or forget.

Yes, it's nine months. It worked well for 2014, there were a dozen swapper participating, and everyone sent. I hope it will do as well this time!

I actually liked the length of time. It allowed me to get photo shots through 3 seasons here in Minnesota. :-)

I don't mind the time-length given for this swap. Gives many chances to get just the right picture!! Thanks for hosting!!

You're welcome! Thank you all for joining :)

Here in So. California we get a lot of sunny days but, with this deadline I'll be able to get some different shots. I'm looking forward to doing this. Great idea!

I'm so excited to start choosing my photos for this. I'll be a busy girl for a few days! ;-)

So sad. We had 3/4 of a year to do this and I still wound up with nothing.

I hope my partner is okay but it would have been better if she'd notified her swap partners that she couldn't go through with her swaps.
