I thought I might start an alphabet series for envelopes and first up is 'A'!

For this swap you'll be creating a mail-art envie for your partner measuring at least 4" x 6" (but can be larger).

You'll use at least 6 'A' elements on your mail art. You might include: an apple, an astronaut, an anchor, an apricot, and a work of art. You may use photographs, drawings, book illustrations, magazine pictures--any type of image goes.

Please include an inexpensive surprise for your partner--maybe something beginning with a 'A' ;+) (just a suggestion--not a requirement).

Many thanks to @sherba31 for calling an error to my attention! I changed an "expensive" surprise to an "inexpensive" surprise! Sorry everybody--it's corrected now.

How about different techniques, like paints, ink, etc.? Or is this a strictly collage swap series?

ANY technique is GREAT for this swap . . . I should have been clearer in the description . . . I always gravitate to collage so that's my thinking process . . . BUT if you are great with mixed-media, paints, etc., please join and go for it!
