Description:

What’s a Pocket Letter? Add ATC-sized art with little flat gifts and that equals a Pocket Letter! If you’re new to Pocket Letters, you can see me assemble one here: https://youtu.be/r64taq8ZVgM

This Pocket Letter’s theme is the Nature Gal. The Nature Gal is someone who is deeply connected with something in nature – ocean, lakes, water, forest, trees, grass, prairies, dirt, gardens, flowers, mountains, desert, animals, etc. So you will pick one of these elements in nature and make a Pocket Letter. The theme is Sender’s Choice! You may look at your partner’s profile for ideas but ratings should reflect that you received your pocket letter on time.

The details:

1) Use a store-bought plastic see-through 9 pocket binder page like the ones used for baseball cards. Please do not use a handmade one.

2) Fill 8 pockets with art and/or goodies. Choose which part of nature you will focus on or decide if it will be a medley of natural elements. Choosing a color scheme may help but it’s not necessary. Use 1 pocket to include a note about why you chose that aspect of nature and anything else you wish to share. This is not a destash theme so your partner will expect some creations in the pockets.

Things important enough to mention:

1) Newbies are allowed. As a host, I am required to check each profile and ban where appropriate.

2) I will angel if necessary, but I REALLY hope I won't have to. I’ve been flaked on too many times which caused me to stop swapping for a year. So please do not sign up if you’re too busy, too new, too unsure, can’t get the items to make the pocket letter, or you won’t be able to complete this fun swap.

3)Pocket letters take time to make! Please send something that would like to receive.

Rating:

Everyone has different crafting abilities, styles, and materials. So please rate a 5 if you received your pocket on time. Hearts are up to you.

If you have questions, please PM me or post below :)

Now it’s time to get your Nature Gal on!

So, is the theme Sender's Choice or Nature Gal? It says both.

Hi, It is Nature Gal but the element that will be the focus is Sender's Choice. So the sender chooses if they want to focus on oceans, mountains, forests, etc. Or it can even be a medley of natural elements. The pocket letter in the picture and in the video focused on forests. Does that clarify things? Thanks for asking!

I watched your video. So all 9 pockets don't need to be decorated? That is, when we've pick-pocketed out all the presents (washi, tea, etc), there can be empty/un-decorated pockets? Also, it says to fill the pockets with "art and/or goodies"; does this mean that someone could just put goodies (and a note) in the pockets? Then the PL would be empty after all the goodies are removed? Thanks.

Hi, It would be preferred if all pockets are decorated and have something in it after all the goodies are taken out. For instance, if the pocket has a tea bag, it would be a good opportunity to at least have a sheet of paper behind it so it's not totally empty. But again, it's what the sender chooses to do. I know lots of swap state ALL POCKETS decorated. So it's up to you. Thanks for asking!
