Description:

Grief sucks. And I'm trying to be a little flippant because sometimes that helps. Please don't be offended. :)

Grief also comes in many forms, and for many different reasons. Death, breakups, disease, arguments, etc.

Whatever your reason for grief, or whoever or whatever caused it, this swap is for you if you want to get something off your chest and you want an empathetic ear.

You will have one swap partner to whom you will write a letter about your grief. There are no subject limits, and no censoring, so if you're easily offended or upset by touchy subjects, this swap probably not for you.

The only other requirement is that you also tell your swap partner a little bit about yourself in the opening paragraph--such as where you're from, your job, your hobbies, family life, etc. Anything that you want to say, but it would be nice to start with something HAPPY or that you do actually LIKE about your life. Then carry on with your sadness ...

This could be a simple way of releasing some pent up emotions. I know I have a lot! It could also turn into a lifelong friendship. You never know. :)

Any questions, please ask!

Could we get a bad rating on this?

Cayers2, I'm not really sure what you mean. Do you mean is it possible or should it even be allowed? I would suggest that you rate a 5 as long as you get a letter ... Maybe avoid 3's unless it's just really not following the instructions at all. For instance, if someone forgets to mention anything happy, I guess a 5 would still be appropriate, but if they simply write only about happy things that would be a 1 or 3. Does that make sense?
