Description:

Simple swap here with a week turn-around: send one Halloween card with a short Halloween greeting to two international recipients.

Anticipating possible concerns:

1) Your country does not have Halloween cards in the shops: OK to improvise with a card that you alter or that looks spooky, autumnal, or Halloween-like to you. Draw a great monster on it, add a cut-out, place a strategic sticker of a cute pumpkin or eerie ghost, etc. Just make it something that you would like to receive.

2) You have a perfect idea for altering a store-bought card: go for it. Just make sure that it is something that you would like to receive.

3) You are passionate about making handmade Halloween cards: go for it. Just make sure that it is something that you would like to receive.

4) You want a country-specific or region-specific swap: Go for it. No worries about setting up one of your own.

5) You want to send a vintage Halloween card: go for it. Just make sure that it is something that you would like to receive.

6) Your card is not in English: no worries, translate it for your partner if they do not speak the language that it is in.

7) You are very specific about your Halloween card needs (cute, creepy, artistic, blood-soaked, not scary, anime, etc).: probably not the swap for you, but feel free to put strong preferences (such as my example of an irrational fear of vampires) in the comments. Cards are sender's choice. It's always nice to check profiles.

Let me know what other concerns pop up. Be rated for at least three swaps (at least two postal swaps), have great ratings with no recent concerns and past concerns resolved as much as is possible. I will screen swappers. I will send a Halloween card to anyone who does not receive one after they communicate with their swap partner.

I have an irrational fear of vampires and will relinquish all vampire-associated cards to my daughter, who has watched Twilight. :)

Awesome swap! I love the idea of making my own cards since I have everything I need for that and it's really hard (nearly impossible) to find Halloween cards in my country, since I must be like the only one who likes to celebrate it hehe. Thanks for hosting this one!

melissanichole2, I have sent you a message re: a private swap, as you are not yet rated :)

Holding off on assigning partners for a day to see if one more rating arrives for one swapper. Thanks!
