Description:

The January 2016 Fandom in a Bag swap is Star Wars.

Step 1: Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, movies, shows, books, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 7 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged (PLEASE try to make it look full). Different types of items means 5 ATCs, 3 pins, 2 postcards would be 10 items but only 3 different types. The swap requirement is for 7 different types in a bag.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, books, bookmarks, address labels, postcards, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fainfic, zines, etc.

More specific ideas: Jedi Academy exam sheet, podracing betting card/trick dice, hat/scarf to keep your partner warm on Hoth, mini light saber, mini versions of the droids your partner might be looking for, Han in carbonite ice cube trays, postcards or travel posters from different plants/systems, language dictionaries/cheat sheet, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 gallon (measures about 10 inches by 11 inches or 28cm by 26.5 cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a gallon in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of January and please send by the deadline (January 30).

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be on the wrong side of a light saber.

Favorite characters are Vader, Emperor, and Grand Moff Tarkin. Dark side is my favorite but really I love everyone even light side guys. So if it's Star Wars then I'll like it.

So love the new characters, big fan of Han Solo, Luke, Yoda, and all of the Jedi.

I prefer the movies from Episode IV - VII. My favorite characters are R2D2, BB8, Chewbacca, Yoda, Han Solo, Javas, the Cantina Band and Darth Vader. I like both the light and the dark side.

I love pretty much everything except Jar Jar and C3PO. I am a huge fangirl of BB8, Rey, Finn, Clone Troopers, Stormtroopers, Boba Fett, Han Solo and Obi Wan. I equally love Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano.

*I got several journals for Christmas with Star Wars characters so I don't need any more! Please and thank you!!

I adore the Jedi Order in general and I really like the droids, Yoda, and ewoks. Ewan's Obi-Wan is my FAVORITE (and I love Qui-Gon almost as much). I really enjoyed the Force Awakens including BB8, Rey, Finn, and appearances from so many of the old faves (Yay!). I'm definitely a fan of the light side :-) I will never say no to anything Star Wars LEGO-related.
