Zine - Black Out Zodiac Poems

A hobby that I've picked up recently is creating black-out poems from the horoscope section of my local free newsletter, and realized that it would be a good idea for a mini-zine.

For this swap, you will create a blackout poem for each sign of the zodiac (2 per page). Be sure to leave the astrological sign as part of the poem. Decorate the front and back (plus any space between poems) as you see fit. You'll send a photocopy of your zine to three partners.

Minimum 4.98, no recent 1s or 3s.

What's a black-out poem?

Basically, you take existing text (in this case, a horoscope) and create new text by blacking out portions of it with a Sharpie or permanent marker. Pinterest has a ton of examples.

What is a zine?

A zine is a piece of paper that has been folded into a little booklet.Typically, you make one then photocopy it, sending the copies to your partners.

Why is the sign-up deadline so far in the future?

Basically, I wanted to give people a chance to collect a good amount of material to work with. From the ones that I've made so far, only 1-2 per set tend to be keepers. If you like the challenge of working with one set, however, go for it!
