Description:

The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has designated this week, Feb. 12 - 18, as the Random Acts of Kindness Week for 2007. http://www.actsofkindness.org/index.asp

Hopefully we will all be doing extra acts of kindness this week, but your specific mission for this swap will be to observe SOMEONE ELSE doing something kind for another person, then report on it.

It'll be quite fast and easy:

Sign up for the swap during RAK Week. During that time, be on the lookout for a nice, unselfish deed, large or small, that you can catch someone else doing. Once you get your partner's name, send him or her a postcard with a brief description of the deed you witnessed. (Example: "I saw a neighbor shovel the snow off another neighbor's driveway early one morning.") The picture on the postcard does not need to be related to the kindness deed.

The general purpose here is to heighten our awareness of acts of kindness in general, inspire us to do nice things, remind us that there is a lot of goodness in others -- and increase the number of uplifting messages in the world!

So are you in?
