Description:

I've been wanting to do this swap for awhile and now is the time before it is entirely too hot to mail these.

Have a wax Warmer?! This swap is simple. Send one pack (6 count) of your very favorite scent, the one that takes you to your "happy place," and a happy note to your partner:) that's it!

All brands welcome! Must be 6 cubes. Wax melt cost should be between $2-$4. If your favorite scent comes in a larger pack you are welcome to remove how ever many needed to leave your partner with 6, but please send in the original packaging so that your partner can search it online if they end up liking it as much as you do.

Newbies welcome (as I was new recently and dying to join swaps. Please don't make me regret it)!! I can only afford to angel up to a certain amount, I hope it doesn't happen, but should too many flake this would then be a swap with no 'angeling' so join at your own discrescion. Thank you for understanding:)

Wax melt "tips:" * I use a cottonball to soak up my melted wax when switching scents! (Can you believe I used to hammer them out with a butter knife in the beginning?! Then moved on to pouring the melted wax out. Neither were successful!) * I cut my cubes in half! Half of the cube gives enough of a fresh burst of scent to fill the air space! Using a whole cube always seemed so wasteful as it still "ran out" of scent just as quickly as my half cubes!

My warmer came with directions to turn it off and allow it to cool. Then turn it on for just long enough to warm it a teensy bit. Then slide the whole piece of wax right out. There's rarely enough left even need to wipe the warmer! HTH

That's a good idea too, I've read it and tried it, BUT 95% of the time I got side tracked and ended up coming back to the whole thing melted! lol

When your wax dies off simply let it resolidify. Then stick the part that holds the wax in the freezer. The wax molecules will condense down and reduce the size of the wax. You can then just slide the wax out.

However, I like to camp so I reuse my wax to make fire starters. To do that I get dryer lint and put it into one of my used (but allowed to dry after) Dixie cups from my bathroom. The fire starters usually burn 15+ minutes so do great to catch the logs. Plus, it's all recycled materials.

Oops, to the instructions above I pour the wax over the dryer lint that's in the Dixie cup. Then allow to harden.

Very cool! Thanks! Never thought about putting it in the freezer after its already solid! Will try that for sure:)
