Description:

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. ~2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

God gave us the gift of free will. We have the power to choose. We may not have a choice about what happens to us in certain situations, but we can choose how we respond. No matter what we face in life, God enables us to learn and grow from our choices. "Good and evil both increase at compound interest. That's why the little decisions you and I make every day are of such infinite importance, C. S. Lewis said. "Every time you make a choice you are turning the central part of you, the part that chooses, into something a little different than it was before.

For instance, you might feel trapped in your job. No matter how many excuses you may find to believe in your own powerlessness, you have more power than you give yourself credit for. You can choose to develop new skills, seek out different opportunities in the company or search for a better job.

The ability to make wise choices will help you stay faithful and become the woman God created you to be. You can focus on what is truly important, choosing behaviors and actions that align with God's highest will for you. You can make courageous choices that will result in positive change, healthy self-esteem, spiritual stamina, and a more fulfilling life.

For this swap, write a letter to your partner on pretty stationary or in a note card. Here are 3 choices on what to write about. You may choose one or all three. Sender's choice.

1 - We all want to make wise choices and accomplish goals in our lives. Set a simple goal and follow through with it. In your letter, describe this to your partner.

2 - Write out your goals for a week... a month... or the year. Describe these to your partner.

3 - Write down things you did and what you accomplished today to help yourself see if you are making wise choices or if there are areas you could work on. Tell your partner about it.

Add a flat surprise for your partner. Examples are tea, scripture card, magazine article, recipe card...

Perfect love expels all fear. ~1 John 4:18 NLT
