Description:

PLEASE NOTE: Well-established folks ONLY (50 or more Type 2/Type 3 swaps completed). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wouldn't it be great to send a postcard and see where it had been all around the world? Then get it returned back to you after its adventures were over? Let's do it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND:

Choose a card. A card that you think people would enjoy seeing (however, PLEASE DO NOT USE EXTRA LARGE POSTCARDS THAT WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE!). Put your name and address (including the country!) on the right hand side of the card. Put the title of the swap ("Adventures of the Traveling Postcard") and your screen name at the top of the left hand side. PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE and send it off to your partner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND(S):

Just write your name, username, city, state/country, on the left hand side of the postcard you received in the previous round. Put it in an envelope and send it to your partner! (DO NOT WRITE YOUR ENTIRE ADDRESS ON THE POSTCARD - THIS TAKES UP TOO MUCH SPACE!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hang on to the postcard(s) that you receive in each round. We will have another round each month. Sign up when you receive yours from the previous round, start another one in rotation, or contact me, as I may have a postcard that needs to be put back into rotation as well! When the left side of the postcard is filled up with the names and cities of those that have received the postcard, the last person will stamp your actual postcard and send it back to you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IMPORTANT:

1.) Please don't send more than 3 cards per round. Hang on to the extra ones and send them in following rounds. If you have too many, please contact me.

2.) Before sending out the cards to the next person, do check if the cards belongs to someone who is still participating. If they are not, please contact me about it.

3.) If you decide to stop the swap, please contact me so you can send your received cards to me and I can keep them in rotation.

4.) Do NOT send the postcard back to the original owner until the left side of the postcard is completely filled unless instructed otherwise. CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT SENDING YOUR PARTNER'S CARD BACK TO THEM AS PART OF THE SWAP ROUND YOU'RE ON.

5.) Do not destroy, bend, write on the front of, or ANYTHING else that destroys the integrity of the postcard. Treat the postcard how you would want yours treated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well-established folks ONLY (50 or more Type 2/Type 3 swaps completed) and I will ban if I feel that you may be a questionable swapper. I want to do my best to ensure that everyone receives their postcards back. So don't join if you don't think you can commit to it for the long haul. I will be checking EVERYONE'S profile and will ban anyone that I feel like. Thanks and happy swapping!

How I can send more than 3 PC if I have 1 Partner?!

lihior 10/14/2016 #

I join the question

mdkrouwel 10/15/2016 #

Keep them till next round. If you do keep having too many, you can send some to me and I will keep those cards here for anyone who didn't receive from a previous round.

pne 10/15/2016 #

I have a card for @Sam86 .

pne 10/15/2016 #

@Sahnetoffee - it can be that your 1 partner sends you two, three, four, five postcards in an envelope.

Sometimes this happens because someone passes on an old card and adds one of their own (even though I think the rules do not allow this); sometimes this happens because one card takes too long to arrive and only shows up after the send-by date of the next round is over; then the round after that, the person will have the long-travelling card and a new card from the next round.

Deeno1105 10/16/2016 #

I'll be sending @Karen C.'s PC. Started on R~58. It's got a lot of sight seeing to do.

mdkrouwel 10/17/2016 #

Sorry if I reply late, my father suffered from a heartattack and is in hospital atm. So I keep running between my household and hospital.

thisismeAXiD 10/23/2016 #

flowerchild 10/31/2016 #

Bluegirl 11/ 6/2016 #

I have a new card from Kylee Sartwell.

kacka 11/ 7/2016 #

sent cards for @shireseamstress @Charmin Victoria Braegger

Corazon 11/ 7/2016 #

I just realized (on the day before the swap was due) that the cards I have should be going straight back to the person who sent them to me. Unless I hear different I am going to start a new card and save the two that I have for round 61.

EmilyT 11/26/2016 #

@janeengland I'm in Colorado, USA then I sent your pc on to The Netherlands so it has traveled back and forth across the ocean quite a bit already!
