Description:

For this swap, you will send your partner 5 flat items from 1 Euro store. Anything that can be used for penpalling or paper crafting: stickers, letter sets, cute paper pads, sticky notes, rubber stamps or whatever you find. This is a European swap so there´s different selection of items in every country which makes this swap nicer and of course lower postage. Please make sure the things are not damaged but new. Also do not send 5 sticker sheets but make a variety. 1 letter set counts as one item, a set of sticky notes counts as one item etc.

Since this is a first swap in the group after a long time, you gonna have enough time to sign up and to send the swap out.

Make sure you rate your partner with 5 if you have gotten all the 5 items, give heart if it was really special.

I will check all the profiles and ban people with lower ratings. No recent 1s or 3s.

I wish you all a happy swapping!

Hi, is there a budget required for this swap? And about the items, are they needed to be bought or also could be handmade?

Thank you in advance.

The budget is 5 Euro. Things in Euro store cost 1 Euro and some things even less, depends on the store and what you buy, but I take 1 Euro as an average per item. I hope you´re familiar with 1 Euro stores.

Thank you for your kindness. I am very familiar with 1€ stores but as you said above some items cost less then an euro that's why I was wondering if you could clarify the budget for the swap so none will be disappointed when received. Thanks again for your answer. :)

That's interesting. In the UK, virtually everything in a £1 store costs a pound, other than a few more expensive items.

I'm happy to treat this swap as a £1 swap and to send 5 items each costing £1, but for future swaps, we might need to think about the relative value of different currencies.

@hazelwitch3 There are some german thrift stores in Austria and some prices are 1 Euro and for the rest of things there are 2 prices listed - 1 Euro if you buy in Germany and 1,25 Euro if in Austria. I bought an awesome letter set in one of those stores, price was 3 Euro for Germany and 3,5 for Austria. So I paid 3,5 Euro. If I bought the same thing in Germany, would pay less. It´s ridiculous but that´s the way it is. And some of those thrift stores expanded their selection which is really great. But still come higher quality things cost more than 1 Euro.
