Description:

Closure is hard. Change is hard. Growth is hard. Am I right?

This is a swap in which you can write a letter to someone that you can't actually write a letter to. You can send it off into the ether, without actually sending it to the intended recipient.

You will have one partner and you will mail them a letter, or other form of epistolary communication, written to somebody in your life, past, present, or future.

Some possible people you could write to:

-Someone who has passed away

-Someone you have lost touch with

-Your past self

-Your future self

-Someone in your life you aren't ready to tell something to

-Your future partner

-A biological relative you never met

-A parent, partner, or other person that you want to forgive, but aren't ready to tell them what they've done to cause you pain

-A spiritual figure

-A fictional character

If you feel like you would like to preface the letter for your swap partner, you may include a note to them. If the process feels more meaningful sending it off simply as a letter to the person it's being written to, then that is fine as well. This could take the form of something other than a letter, such as a song, poem, visual art, mix tape, etc... You could include an object or photo, if that feels right.

My hope for this swap is that it will be cathartic. It will be more about the process as the sender than as the recipient. I doubt I need to say this, but I hope you will rate with this in mind and give a 5 to anything received that meets the criteria.

This is obviously not profile based, but please use reasonable discretion in content. You may want to take a look at your partner's profile or send them a message to determine if they might be offended by swearing, etc. If the letter you feel you need to write is graphic or obscene, this may not be the proper swap for you.

4.9 rating or higher please. Newbies with completed profile may participate. I will angel if necessary.

This is my first time hosting a public swap. If anything is unclear or you have questions, please ask. I will do my best to clarify.
