Description:

I use index cards to clean off my brushes, use up excess paint. clean stencils and mask off space while painting. Some of these index cards turn out great - even without me trying to get a good design. They are great for scraps, scrap monsters, and journal cards.

Send your partner 5 painted index cards to add to their altered books. Use ink, paint or sprays. You can add lines for writing or not. You can paint on the lined side or the blank side.

This should be a one-stamp swap!

Just to clarify...does only one side need to be painted, or both sides of each index card?

i cant seem to get the cards done. i will sign back up if i get five finished. i have not had any time to paint.

Do they need to be index cards or can be any paper we use aside our work table?

I am taking a class with Tammy Garcia - daisy yellow. She uses (and asks us to use) index cards as small bits of inspiration. For some folks, the size, 3" x 5", is less intimidating.

You only need to paint one side and they are great to write on, die cut, add as a tip in, stamp on - the list is endless. Just have fun with it.
