Spring Purse Knit Kit Swap

Spring is around the corner! And what is nicer than knitting a new Spring Purse...unless it's having a friend send you the goodies to knit your new Spring purse! :)

PLEASE read through All of the rules before signing up! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SWAP IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO SEND A PACKAGE! If you didn't send in the Winter Scarf Knit Kit swap, don't bother signing up for this one.

Participants in this swap will send/receive the following:

1. A purse pattern
2. Yarn and notions to complete the pattern
3. Knitting needles to make the purse
4. Some Spring related goodies (Easter, flowers, etc)
5. 2 Small items that could be carried in the new purse (examples: lip gloss,small mirror, change purse, cell phone holder, etc)

Minimum Kit value is $25, not including postage.

Give your Kit a theme related to spring or a yarn/knitting theme or one of your choice....Easter, baby animals,flowers...whatever floats your boat! Be creative and have fun!

PLEASE: No cheap acrylic yarns, or broken/damaged knitting needles. You can send used needles, but just make sure they are in perfect knitting condition and the right size for the pattern you send. Send something you would love to receive!

Contacting your partner after swap assignments are made IS REQUIRED in this swap. That way you can get to know each other, and your partner can let you know about color preferences, the size of purse they could use, and if they have any allergies to fibers or other things (pet hair, smoke, wool, etc).

Because of problems with bad swappers, nobody with a rating of less than 4.5 will be allowed to sign up. If you have received a bad rating that you feel is unfair, message me and perhaps we can work something out.

New swappers who are not yet rated are welcome to sign up, but those with no rating are required to MESSAGE ME to let me know that you are serious about swapping and won't flake on the exchange. Once I have your word that you will follow the rules and send a package, you're good to go! If I have not received a message from a non-rated swapper by the swap sign-up deadline, they will be removed from the swap before partner assignments are made.

Those with two bad ratings (1's or 3's) will not be allowed to join this swap.

Those who join this exchange and do not send a package to their swap partner will be put on a list of "Bad Swappers.''Bad swappers will be banned from any future exchanges that I coordinate!! And the list may be provided to other swap coordinators if they request it. So....if you don't plan to send....don't join this exchange!!! Play fair.

That's a lot of rules, but it helps ensure that everyone receives a package.
