Description:

While this is senders choice for the outside of the pillow, it might be wise to check your partner's profile before filling it just in case of allergies or certain scents that may not be appreciated.

The size is up to you that might be small enough to tuck between a case and the pillow, or be large enough to lay on the outside of a pillow. Fabric can be 100% Cotton, Satin, Velvet or anything else that will not rub or cause friction. You might want to avoid synthetic fabrics. Consider fabrics that would go against a baby's skin.

It is well known that certain scents from herbs and essential oils have powerful effects on our dreams. We can use dream pillows to help us relax, to bring on lucid dreams, help us feel loving energy toward ourself and others, and remind us of happy times. Some help us heal. On the other hand, certain scents we don't like can bring on night terrors and shake us up.

Use what you know about herbs and essential oils to create a dream pillow. Consider colors and their effect. Consider intentions. Some people write intentions on the back side of fabric before sewing it together.

Step 1: Cut fabric. Always pre-wash to remove any excess dyes

Step 2: Sew pillow. Fold your fabric in half with right sides together so that you have a piece that is approximately 5Ò€³ x 6Ò€³. Done this way, one side is closed on the seam, sew up two side seams and fill on the fourth side

Step 3: Add herbs, clean batting that is soft enough to sleep on, sewing up final side for a finish

Please do not put lavender or patchouli in mine! Lavender is supposed to cure headaches, but it causes migraines for me. Go figure! And, I just really hate the smell of patchouli. It smells like mold to me. Thank you for understanding.
