Can this be either hand made, or gotten in the store?

Emeraldcharm14 12/12/2008 #

Great question I'm not familiar with handmade postcards and would love to hear more about them first, could you tell me more?

Ummmm, a handmade postcard is just that...a postcard someone has made by hand! :>)

They can be collaged or painted or pen & ink....there are many handmade postcard swaps here on swap-bot. Here is a link to the

Handmade Postcard Club group.

Thanks for the info on the handmade postcards, actually I've been considering trying my hand at them. Yes they can be handmade, thats an awesome idea, as long as they stick to the subject. I would imagine a small collage of pictures would also make a good handmade card.

Thanks for the link.

Do the postcards have to be from where you currently live or can they be from places you have lived? Thanks ---

Are they being sent stamped and written on, or in an envelope?

Emeraldcharm14 01/27/2009 #

They are being sent in an envelope, with alittle information about where you live.

They should be from where you are currently living, if you live in a small village or town and there aren't any consider making one, or using one from the closest large town to you.

I live in a village, so I will be using a card from the closest town to me.

Does that help?

If there are any questions please send them to my swap-bot email I check that daily. Thanks! I will definitely post all questions and responses here.

Hi! The cards should be from where you live and should be of something that is pertinent to that area.
