Description:

Hello Magpie Lovers! Let’s create a devoted mini Magpie. What’s a devoted mini you ask? It’s a pocket size or smaller. 3.5x 4.5 at largest journal that you will fill 15 pages. The remainder will be for your partner to collect items as they desire.

Inside you will fill it with items from the list below. They don’t have to be in this order and this is a loose based item description. Be as creative as you see fit. Please don’t just place the item on the page with nothing else. Perhaps give some details on what you include or use some decorative way to display the item.

I am hoping this encourages creativity as we look at items we use throughout our day.

  1. A newspaper, magazine, or book page.

  2. A wrapper, box clipping, etc. of something you ate.

  3. A business flyer you received in the mail or picked up.

  4. A tag from something you buy.

  5. A receipt from somewhere you went.

  6. A recycled item (think bottle cap, dryer sheet, envelope from a bill, etc.)

  7. An old grocery or to do list you created.

  8. A post office stamp new or used.

  9. A date sticker or label from food, household items, etc. (my bananas, apples, and bread always have paper labels on them)

  10. Something you find.

  11. Something you don’t need.

  12. A sample of a craft item you love, Washi, ribbon, stamp, etc.

  13. A colorful page.

  14. A piece of nature (leaf, flower, tree rubbing, etc)

  15. Anything you desire.

Be creative.

Please don’t send sticky or stinky items.

Also, please read your partner’s profile to be sure you don’t send something they could be allergic to.

You will have a month to complete this swap.

At present, this is a US swap but another swapper may set up an international swap if desired.

Have fun with it!

Is it ok to use more than 15 pages for swap? For instance it might take me 2 or 3 pages for a magazine spread... hmmm. 🤔

Absolutely! I also like double page spreads. 😊
