Description:

This will be a monthly series where every month we do a different shaped ATC. This month is the Sugar Skull ATC. Below is our monthly list if you would like to work ahead. And, if you have any other shapes you'll like to see, just leave me a message in the comments.

An ATC is sized 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Draw and Cut your shape on your standard ATC size, going all the way to the edges. For this swap, you then simply cut your ATC 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and then draw, trace, stamp, print, etc... a skull shape on to your paper, fabric, sturdy backing, so the head fully fills your 2.5 x 3.5 inch space. You can then trim off the excess paper around the skull so what you have left is a 2.5 x 3.5 inch blank skull. Then color, paint, collage, etc. your skull as if you were making a sugar skull and send one skull shaped ATC to your partner. For this swap, your ATC should be portrait style or vertical, meaning the 2.5 inch side is the top or width, with the longer sides being the height. They may be made using any art mediums. Please no stickers. Please sign and date the back of your ATC, with your artist info. These are miniature works of art, made by you. Have fun creating them.
