Description:

Ever find yourself setting little goals, but you lose motivation and they just don't happen? The aim for this swap is to help us hold ourselves accountable for our weekly goals.

So - when you sign up, post at least three goals for the week of this swap. They can be as simple as, "Read a book", or as challenging as, "Write several chapters of a novel". Whatever your goals are for the week, however big or small, use this as a chance to hold yourself accountable and get things done! :)

I'll assign partners on a Sunday. You will have three partners. Send an e-mail to your partners - I suggest using BCC - on the following weekend, telling them how well you did in tackling your list. (If you accomplish all of your weekly goals sooner than the weekend, feel free to send off your e-mail sooner!)

If you haven't posted your goals for the week in the comments by the time I'm assigning partners, you will be removed from the swap. I reserve the right to ban as needed, but this group is well-maintained, so I doubt that'll be necessary.

  • sort, wash and pack stuff kids are outgrown of
  • finish and send all snail-mail swaps
  • start crocheting a scarf (at the very least buy yarn and print out pattern)

I've got a bunch and "hope" I can get them all done but no promises. One thing is, if the swaps should fall due when they're on my list, they absolutely WILL get done but some listed aren't due as of yet but still want to work on them until waiting till last minute.

My goals for this upcoming week include:

  • finish knitting a sock (which may be complicated by the fact that I ran out of that yarn!)
  • finish knitting a hat for charity
  • wind a skein of yarn into a ball so I can start a cowl pattern for a friend
  • begin reading a book (either from the library or from my stash)
  • eat healthier breakfasts during the week

  1. I have to do my taxes (my favorite activity of the year! (not)). Help my parents with their taxes.
  2. Write a letter to my penpal.
  3. Work on my swaps: finish the altered notecard and work on a decorated envelope.
  4. Clean the blinds in my kitchen.
  5. Clean small bedroom.
  6. Continue on my jigsaw puzzle.
