Description:

Internation Swap The more the merrier.

Send 4 sheets of scrapbook paper to each of 2 partners. That is 8 sheets total. This must be paper for scrapbooking so please send paper that is acid-free and is a complete sheet. The usual United States size is 12+12 or 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Do Not fold the paper to fit into a smaller envelope unless your partner specifically says she doesn't mind. Try to send really nice paper. If you want to send some stickers I am sure your partners would be thrilled. These envelopes will be lightweight and should be very cheap to send. There is a short turn-around time because there is no handcrafting time involved. Newbies are welcome if you fill out a profile. Please read the FAQ on the home page. If you still have questions, please feel free to ask me. This is a fun and easy way to develop a good rating. For anyone in the U.S. receiving from an international partner, I humbly ask that you wait at least 2 weeks before rating your partner. Some other countries can take a VERY long time to deliver. Have fun. Send really great paper and wait to be surprised by what you get in the mail.

Are there envelopes available to mail the big sheets (12 x 12)? Surely you won't fold them.... or would I cut them in half? This is a dumdum question but I'm sure plenty of you have mailed these before & can help with an answer!

I have not seen actual envelopes that size but, you could easily make an envelope by folding some brown wrapping paper or paper bag around the scrapbook paper. It would be good to use a couple of layers or a thin sheet of bubble wrap or a stiff piece of cardboard to protect the scrapbook paper. Hope this helps. Janet

hey Janet - making my own envelope makes sense. That was the only thing holding me back from joining this swap. Thanks for the tip!

FYI Its a pretty new feature, but the host (thats me) must hit a button to start the swap. That button will not be available to me until late tonight or tomorrow. I will start the swap as soon as I am able. Thanks every one for joining and lets have fun. I am picking out my papers today.

Hi all. I'm sorry for sending things out so late. We had a bit of a family emergency and I was unable to get much of anything done for about a week. Sweetart7576 and kandm17, your packages are on the way! FJ
