I can't be the only one still hanging on to a shoebox of Pogs, can I? LOL

In case you are unfamiliar:

a cardboard (sometimes plastic) disk printed with a design or picture, collected or swapped by children or used in games. a children's game in which players strike a pile of Pogs with an implement, winning any that land face upwards when they fall. "a group of children playing Pogs during recess"

Origin 1990s: from POG (acronym from the initial letters of passion fruit, orange, guava ), a trademark for a juice drink originally made by a dairy on Maui, Hawaii: the lids of the drink provided the first game disks.

This swap is simple, send 3 different Pogs to your partner!

IMAGERY ON THE POGS IS SENDERS CHOICE! but you are welcome to check your partners profile if you have a wide selection and want to narrow down what to send. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me :)

Send something you would like if you were receiving the mail. :)

โ€ข There is a minimum rating requirement, of 4.9, I ask that you have no recent, unexplained 1โ€™s, or 3โ€™s- Please message me to explain if you feel you have been rated unfairly, etc. Please do not flake on your partner. Those who flake will be banned permanently from future swaps I host!

Make sure you include a note to your partner with Your name and the Name of the swap. If you receive 3 different Pogs, and note - please rate your partner a 5. Hearts are, as always, at your discretion.

I would so join this swap if I had any POGs left. But funny story you might like - My parents owned a convenience store back in the 90's and purchased 10 "units" of them from a company - they thought a unit was 100 pieces - it was 1000 so they ended up with 10,000 POGs! LOL. I remember we couldn't even give them away. They were all in these huge plastic drums up on a high shelf and that is where they stayed until the new owners bought the store a decade later - I wonder what they ever did with them? Regret that I should have kept some of them but - who knew? Have fun with your swap!

That store story is hilarious!

Yes, I have pogs! Love that you're doing this swap.

ChelseaStarleen 06/24/2020 #

@ChelseaStarleen - I'm on the watch list but can't remember where the POG's are stored. I'm not going to find them before the deadline. will you be hosting this swap again?

Kittybob83 06/29/2020 #

I hope you do this one again so I can find mine. I have tubes of them in my closet somewhere.
