There is a holiday for every day of the year. Since we will all be using the same holiday calendar, go to this website for the calendar month of January: http://holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/january.htm

Using this calendar, you'll pick 4 different holidays from the month, you choose which four, and send something to your partner that has to do with the holidays you choose. It can be a news article, craft, purchased item, etc., just mix it up a little. Anything that comes to mind that represents that holiday, or your own interpretation.

Only one flat paper item will be allowed. This includes postcards, recipes cards, xeroxed paper items, coupons, bookmarks, etc., with the exception of a small note that you would normally send, or if you are sending extra items, meaning only one single flat item, but packages of multiple flat paper items, such as a package of note cards, recipe cards or book, or a calendar (items in package form) are OK. This is a type 3 swap.

There are so many fun holidays this month! For ex: January 20 is Penguin Awareness Day. You might send something with a penguin on it or a little penguin stuffie. January 23 is National Handwriting Day. Maybe send a nice pen or some stationery. Use your imagination!

So you will send your partner a total of 4 items. After you have collected the 4 items, please send them all together to your partner by the assigned deadline of December 27. This is USA only, 1 partner, and anyone with 4.97 ratings or better, and no recent unexplainable no-sends or lateness. I'm sorry, but after all these years, I will not accept anyone without a rating. This will be fun!

Why are most swaps' location USA and Canada? What about the rest of us! I signed up to this one, didn;t know it can only be done in the US. How do I cancel?

@bittersweetcupcakes It's to save on postage. It costs $0.58 to send something within the U.S., it costs $1.30 to send the same thing overseas. There are plenty of international swaps on here. You can click "leave swap."

bittersweets You did cancel, and like heidiblooms said, it costs more to send internationally. I host this swap every month and have hosted this for 14 years and that would get very expensive.
