Description:

It is all in the title. I am encouraging my daughter to value handmade items over something mass produced. So I thought why not start a swap to see if there are others trying the same thing with their children. So the swap is make one item or a few small items valued between $10 and $20. It could be something for them to play with or something for their room. eg. stuffies, wall hanging, dolls, hats, jewelry the possibilities are endless. List sex and age of child and if they have any strong colour preferences and perhaps some suggestions. Must have a high rating as I want to limit the possibilities of flaking.I will try to angel but would rather it not be necessary. I am going to limit this to Canada/USA because of postage.

My daughter(Isadora) is going to be three in August. Loves to play make believe and do art projects. She likes bright colours.

This is such a great idea for a swap! I love it! =)

My son is 3, his name is Oliver. I know that he will love anything you make, but here are some ideas...something to hang in his room would be great, but he also likes stuffies and hats. He has a tote I made for him but its really big, so maybe a smaller one with long handles would be nice. He loves superheroes, transformers (the old school cartoon not the recent movie), motorcycles/trucks, animals (especially tigers, dogs, cats, monkeys and elephants), cartoons/Disney movies (Bolt, Kungfu Panda, Cars, Monsters Inc, etc)

oh, sorry, I just remembered a few more things he really likes (can't believe I forgot these!): the Hulk, dinosaurs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Cole is almost 6 :)

He likes Scooby Doo, Superhero's (A personalized cape could be cool), TMNT, Krypto, Super Friends, Teen Titans, Ben 10, Spy Kids, Cars, Stuffed Toys, Special Blankets, Search & Finds & lots more, lol! If you need additional ideas, please look at my profile or pm me. Thanks!

I have two boys. Isaac is 4 and very much into dinosaurs at the moment. Isaiah is 5 and really likes bright colors and anything small to fit in his hands. They are both really liking things with texture. African prints are cool for the boys.

Wanted to just add that we really don't have any kind of association with commercial characters. So, please no cartoon, movie, or TV themed stuff. Isaiah is into robots and gadgets these days.

My son, David, will be 2 next month. He loves dogs, pigs, and bears, or anything cuddly and soft! He's also a HUGE fan of airplanes and cars (what boy isn't, right?) ;o)

Daniel is five. I also prefer not to get anything with popular characters on. He loves all colors(although his favorite ball is purple and when we lost it he insisted on the other purple one). He loves the book Froggy Goes to Bed, so maybe soemthing with frog? Anything is fine as long as it doesn't represent violence.
