I tried to find a video that offered more straight forward instructions...didn't find one. I think this is so cute so I am going to give it a shot. Basically it's vertical folds at 4" and 8" and then horizontal fold at 3"?

@captkristi - I agree, it's not a very intuitive video, but you did figure it correctly. On the 12" side, score at 4" and 8", then turn and score at 3". I made mine already and would have scored at 3-7/8" x 8-1/8" so the outter flaps are just a smidge less wide, and I wouldn't have had to trim the insides when folded together to make it lay flat.

@Sonya Thanks so much!! I ended up playing around with it a made a couple. I really appreciate you taking the time to give some info. I put some clear instructions in my project journal and I think I will be making more of these in the future. Definitely a fun way to send happy mail!
