Description:

The latest incarnation of the immortal Zine-Go-Round Swap.

It works like this.

Round 1: You will make a mini-zine from an 8.5 X 11 inch piece of paper (or a nonstandard zine from a different size paper). An 11 X 17 sheet yields an approximately 4" X 6" zine). You will decide on a theme for your zine and decorate the front page (cover) accordingly. Include your contact info on the back cover so your zine can be returned to you when complete. Then you will send that unfinished zine to your partner. Round 1 complete!

Round 2: You will decorate page 2 of the zine you received in Round 1. Follow the originator's theme. Then you will send it to your Round 2 partner.

Rounds 3 thru infinity: We will continue swapping zines, contributing one page at a time until they are full. If you complete the final page, you must send it back to the originator. You will have to send a different zine to the partner you are assigned in that round.

Use any media you like - collage, pencil, marker, paint - whatever medium you like to create with. Have fun!

We did a bunch of these a number of years ago and they are GREAT fun! It's so cool to see everyone's art and different takes on themes.

Be sure to put your address or contact info on the back page, or the person who adds the final page won't know whom to send it back to.

Clear as mud? Please send any questions you might have to me via PM, not this page.

We'll do about a month more or less between rounds.
