Description:

This swap is very simple, and you prepare everything before you get your swap partner assigned. Choose 15–20 (or more) postcards with different themes from your collection (no ad cards, no hand-made cards; must be store-bought), shuffle them face down like playing cards. Then draw a card from the pile (the front picture side is still not visible – so you draw a card 'blindly' - I know cheating is tempting, but no (-:). Now you may look at it, and then put it in an envelope with a small note stating the swap name and your name. Now comes the creative task: Decorate the envelope to match the card inside. Anything is allowed: stamping, stickers, collage, painting, whatever you enjoy. Once your swap partner has been assigned to you, write their address on the envelope. Be careful when writing the address on the envelope. If you press too hard with the pen, the postcard inside the envelope can get unsightly marks. Use an address sticker instead. Now off it goes into the mailbox!

Step by step: 1. Prepare everything before the swap partner is assigned! 2. Select around 15-20 different postcards (the more diverse the themes, the more fun it will be); no hand-made, no ad cards; must be store-bought! 3. Shuffle the postcards like playing cards with the picture side down; 4. Draw a postcard from the pile (picture still facing down); 5. Look at the postcard; 6. Insert it into an envelope (blank and without stamps); 7. Place a small note inside the envelope with the swap name and your own name; 8. Seal it; 9. Decorate the envelope to match the postcard (let your creativity run wild); 10. When knowing the swap partner's name, write it on the envelope, affix a stamp (International swap! Check postage fees); 11. Drop it in the mailbox.

Open to all with good ratings, and newbies with a well-filled out profile are welcome! I will keep an eye on the sign-ups. No flakers, please! Rate a 5 when you have a postcard and a creative envelope that matches the postcard (more or less). Postcards are random, as the sender draws the postcard from a deck of postcards. Don't rate down in case you don't like the postcard. This swap is supposed to be fun for both - sender and recipient! 😉
