Description:

Let's take a jewelry box like you would get at a department store for a bracelet, necklace, earrings etc. and alter it into a beautiful trinket box. You can use decorative papers, handmade papers, fabrics, trims, beads, decopague, paint etc. and checking your partners profile, design your box to meet some of their favorites. Let's really put a lot of effort into this beautiful little box so that it will be something your partner will enjoy displaying in their home. Fill it with little bits of things from their wish list or email them for ideas of things they'd like to have included inside. Newbies are welcomed with a complete profile and I reserve the right to ban anyone who has flaked in the past. I want this to be a great swap with everyone following through with the project. You can email me if you have any questions. The boxes I'm referring to are the ones you would typically get from a jewelry counter, of course if you want to make your own handmade box from heavy card stock, please do. Please don't however use a regular card board box. I'll give you plenty of time to accomplish this fun project. Thanks.

how big should it be?

like the kind of boxes you get at a department store jewelry counter to put a gift of jewelry in, like a bracelet box(the long thin style) or a necklace box (the square kind about 3"square or larger) or whatever size you want, just not any smaller than that. So definately not matchbox size...i'm thinking it would be a nice box someone would want to leave on a bookshelf or on their desk with things in it, or just a box that's nicely decorated. i'll try to find a pic and post it similar to what i'm talking about. thanks for asking.
