Let's celebrate the Summer Solstice / Midsummer on June 20, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

For this international swap you will create a little piece of art and send it to your partner together with a blessing, quote, or poem for the Summer Solstice. You choose what piece of art you would like to create as long as it has to do with the Summer Solstice. Do you imagine a bright sun, a lush garden, or a bonfire when you think of the Summer Solstice? Maybe for you it has to do with dancing, looking at the stars in this shortest night, or with specific colors like yellow and orange. You also decide what your artwork will be made of. Do you like crocheting? Perfect! Would you like to draw or paint something? Go ahead! You can craft with paper, or beads, or you can sew something. This is sender’s choice so you can start to create your piece of art as soon as you sign up for the swap. Please create something beautiful from your heart that will bring your partner joy and a special Midsummer feeling. As this is an international swap, it is totally fine to make something that fits in a normal size envelope so that you don’t have to pay enormous postage. On the other hand, if you like to create something larger and you are okay with higher postage, you can do that as well. Together with your artwork you will send your partner a Summer Solstice blessing, a poem, or a quote that has to do with Midsummer. Please write it on a nice piece of paper (or postcard if you prefer) and include it in your envelope.

Send your items on time (I chose an early send date so that we all have the chance to receive the swap before the Summer Solstice even if it has a longer journey to reach its destination). Rate your partner a 5 when you receive a handmade artwork together with a Summer Solstice blessing, poem, or quote.

I ask for a minimum 4.98 rating, and no recent or unresolved 1s / 3s. I want this to be a happy and joyful swap, so please only sign up if you know you will create something beautiful for your partner and send the swap on time.
