Description:

As usual I am surrounded by Stuff. No matter how tidy I try to be I never make it because some things just don't have a place where they belong to be tidied back to. I am sure you crafters out there know this feeling.

So we are going to help tidy each other up.

All you have to do is send

(a) an 'organsiation item'. I mean things like files, boxes, jars, plastic pockets, those things that hang over doors to put stuff into...anything you can stash and organise things into.

(b) tidy tips. This could be a note with some storage ideas you use yourself (or always mean to) or a magazine article about storage or orgainsation, or some tips off the web.

This is international and so you might want to send somthing light. Or not. Up to you. Doesn't have to be expensive it just has to be very useful. If its pretty and fun too well even better.

You get what you get but if you like you can post a comment below about the kind of stuff you tend to need to tidy up to help you partner.

Newbies with full profiles welcome - just sign up no need to message me. Others, if you have a rating less than 4.5 message me or I might ban you.

Hi . . . I just wanted to share a great de-cluttering website with you all. It's www.flylady.net and the decluttering/organization system is shared free of charge. This approach has changed the way I approach housecleaning and clutter. It's a great system! And there are 300,000 members on that website, proof it can work for anybody! If you have any questions about Flylady's system or sign up and then feel overwhelmed by the emails, feel free to message me privately. :)

I've worked as a professional organizer and I have sooo many cool organizing tips and supplies. I have in mind exactly what to send already and I am so excited to think of getting something organizational in the mail...especially from possibly another country! eee!

Meadow - Just wanted to let you know that your Organizational package is going in the mail tomorrow and coming from NC to you in IL. I hope you enjoy!

Hi Jan -- I got a UPS notice on my door lastnight -- I have to call them so I can pick it up!

Meadow 06/29/2007 #

Oh I don't want to make y'all jealous, but Jan sent me the most lovely, the most thoughtful, the most generous package! I was almost in tears in the UPS parking lot!!!! She sent me the prettiest woven organizing accessories -- they are GORGEOUS.

And scrapbooking supplies in organizers!

ANNNNDDD... an organizing magaine! OMG it's like Organizing Porn! I just keep looking at the pretty pictures and drooling.....THANK YOU JAN!

Sadly, Helen, I did not break the bank for you on this one like Jan did LOL, especially with the cost of shipping. However, I absolutely do use the items I sent you -- they are all over my house and I am constantly buying more. I use them to keep track of my swaps and keep my swap supplies in too. It was hard for me to give up the ones I sent you bc I want to keep them all for myself! LOL. So I think you will get a lot of good use out of them.

Sent them yesterday, usually 7-10 business days to arrival.

This has been so fun, thanks!

PS I told Jan all about them in my thank you email, and she said she was off to Target to go pick some up, bc that's the only place I've seen them! Luckily we live 1000 miles apart so her buying them in her area will not negatively impact my own supply...LOL
