'allo! You know when you go on etsy or such places, and see writers selling letters written as fictional characters? This is essentially that.

I've wanted to practice my in-character letter writing, I've sent an in-character letter to a friend before, and I really enjoyed writing it.

How this will work is like this =

You will write 1 letter for your partner, as if you are the character they want a letter from. it must be at least 2 a4 sides long, or the a5 etc equivalent.

You need not be a writer, or even a good one. I write fanfiction as a hobby and am one of the few that enjoy writing essays, and got a b in my English gcse's, but that is literally all the experience I have, I don't want anyone to stress about the quality of their writing. As long as you enjoyed writing it, it is a perfect thing to send.

In terms of contents - this should not have to be said but do not be rude or inflammatory unless that is the dynamic requested for by your partner, this is supposed to make your partner smile!! Oh, and no smut... Too finicky to navigate, lol! Maybe another time, if people like this one..! Romance, however, is all well and good...

Make sure to include your url and the swap name somewhere on or in the letter.

In terms of how to make or get requests from your partner -

When you join the swap, or before the sign up deadline (plus a day or so for leeway) please leave a comment on this swap.

In the comment, list 2+ characters, including their source material as well as the relationship or dynamic you wish for them to have with you. Source material is very important! I reckon I will not be all too familiar with most characters named for this, so being able to research will be tantamount. Your partner must only write as one of these, but I'd like it to be a bit of a surprise, as well giving your partner an option of who to write as.

Do not comment if you are not a part of this swap, if you do I will send a you a message asking if you intend to join or not, if I don't get an answer ir you don't wish to join, I will ask you to delete the comment (or do it myself, if I am able. I have never had to do so.)

If you have joined the swap but haven't commented after the sign up date plus leeway, I will kick you off the swap.

This is a whole lot of rules, but at the end of the day I want this to be fun! This will be an international swap, so please give time for it to arrive.
